Capt. Jack & Attack of The Mutant Moth...I think.

These two things have nothing to do with one another. Other than the fact that they are in the same blog post.

Jack is a "pretend" dog, who barks at pretend things. He even on occasion gets his feelings hurt and goes to pout upstairs in Leif and I's room. BUT, that is why I love him; he is absolutely and completely worthless other than for visual amusement. He and Leify are the best of buds. Lately Leify has been trying to ride Jack. That never ends well.

What is this monstrosity? That is Leif's index finger up next to it. Has anyone seen a Moth (If that is even what it is) this large? It was camped outside my front door ALL day. I was tempted to attack it with my broom...but what if it was half vampire, like a fairy vampire or something?! It is sooo big!! Can you see it's nasty furry little legs? Blegh.

Today is Leif and I's 3 year anniversary. Him being the super sweet man that he is surprised me with a new camera!! Not just any camera either, a camera I had been eyeing for quite sometime...the Nikon D40.

I took quite a few pictures today, but this is by far my favorite.

Here are a few pictures from our trip to Orlando. I haven't been picture happy lately. I don't know why. So my pics from our vacation are lacking. Here are a few of my favorites. Leify loved the beach and Sea World. He loved, loved, loved the Dolphin show. He was yelling and saying "Wow", "Whoa" "Yay!" over and over and clapping his little hands. That made the whole trip; to see him sooo incredibly excited!






Here is a picture of Leify trying to take on of our kayaks for a spin. He actually really likes to be in them. We have taken him out on the Lake once with us. He just sat back and enjoyed the ride, and tried to steal the paddle from Dad.
